SOK-3001: Microeconomics and mathematics Work Load
20 credits (ECTS) | Objectives
The aim of the course is to make the students familiar with advanced microeconomic analysis and the necessary mathematical foundation needed for such analysis. | Contents
The first part of the course includes the necessary mathematical tools for the MA in Economics, specifically linear algebra and static optimisation. The second part of the course deals with microeconomic theory. This elaborates on the theory taught in lower degree courses, but also extends into new cases. An in-depth look is taken at consumer and firm behaviour, the theory of markets and general equilibrium theory. | Form of teaching
