Objectives
The master''s degree project must show that the student has a good command of Art History theory and method and is capable of using them in a critically reflective and systematic fashion in a written dissertation.
Contents
The master''s degree project is an independent research project in the Art History field. The subject, method and theoretical approach must be discussed with the contact person and supervisor together during seminars. Before the project work is started, a project plan must be submitted and approved in accordance with guidelines.

A completed bachelor degree in the study programme in Art History, or equivalent, is required.
Form of teaching
The work with the master''s degree project is undertaken on an individual or group basis, with personal supervision throughout. In addition, seminars are arranged for the discussion of ongoing projects.

Work requirements:
Participation in a minimum of 3 seminars each semester during the course of working on the master''s degree project. The student must present a contribution each semester.

The master''s degree project must be 80 text pages in length, not including illustrations. If the student chooses other forms of documentation, its scope should correspond to the above-mentioned scale of work.
