SOS-1006: Sociology of culture Work Load

The course takes up the contribution made by pioneer sociologists towards gaining an understanding of culture and how culture becomes a topic in various branches of sociology. It is biased towards understanding consumptive society, particularly how culture related to children and adolescents evolves. | Form of teaching
Lectures 2 hours a week, seminar 2 hours a week. | Exam and assessment
Essay (10 pages) on a topic linked with the course. Oral exam (totally 30 minutes).
Examinations are evalutated using a five-stage scale of grading, from A-E, for those that are passed, and F for a failed examination.
Evaluated by the lecturer and and external examiner.
