To familiarize the students with theoretical approaches to the study of the relationship between education and work and enable them to apply these theoretical approaches in their Master''s thesis. | Contents
Theoretical approaches to the study of the relationship between education and work at different levels of analysis: the macro-level of society as a whole, the organizational level and the level of individueal learning in the work place. The theoretical approaches introduced are: macro-sociological analysis, human capital theory, new-institutionalism in organization theory and theories of individual learning in the work place.
