The course gives an introduction to programming and algorithms. The course includes basic data and control structures, computability, and complexity of algorithms. | Form of teaching
Lectures: 30, Colloquium: 30, Laboratory: 30<br>The coursework includes up to 3 written assignments graded Pass/Fail. Oral presentation of the assignments and demonstration of a working system can be claimed. Approved assignments give access to the final written exam. | Coursework requirements

| Exam and assessment
Fall and Spring exams. 4 hours final exam graded by letter A-F. The overall grade for the course is determined 100% by the final exam. | Date(s) of written examination
