INF-1100 Programming fundamentals

Contents The course gives an introduction to programming and algorithms. The course includes basic data and control structures, computability, and complexity of algorithms.

Form of teaching Lectures: 30, Colloquium: 30, Laboratory: 30<br>The coursework includes up to 3 written assignments graded Pass/Fail. Oral presentation of the assignments and demonstration of a working system can be claimed. Approved assignments give access to the final written exam.

Coursework requirements Inntil 3 skriflig innlev

Exam and assessment Fall and Spring exams. 4 hours final exam graded by letter A-F. The overall grade for the course is determined 100% by the final exam.

Date(s) of written examination 30.11.2007 The exam date is preliminary and may be subject to change. Definitive exam date will be announced on the notice boards at the faculties in the beginning of May for the spring semester and in the beginning of November for the autumn semester.
