The Text Laboratory is a unit at the Department of Linguistics and Scandinavian Studies, University of Oslo. We are engaged in language technology; both language and technology are important aspects of our enterprise. Our focus is: Research in and development of new resources such as software and tools for user interfaces, searching, databases, text research, linguistic research and corpora.
The Text Laboratory offers practical and theoretical support in language technological areas for staff, research fellows and master and PhD students at the Faculty of Humanities. We also have research and development projects together with other institutions nationally and internationally.
