Web-based Services
Brosjyre classfronter og arena - Engelsk.pdfWe offer a number of internet-based services to facilitate the communication between you and Bodø University College. Through the web-based systems, you are able to quickly and easily access Bodø University College's services.
Password-protected services
To access the web-based services, you need to have a user name and password, which you will receive at the beginning of your first semester at Bodø University College, either on the receipt for the semester fee payment or from the International Office. Your user name will normally be the same as your student number. You can use the same user name and password for all the services listed below.
Changing your password
If you want to change your password, this is done through the Arena web service. This will change the password for all other services as well. The new password will be active the following working day.
1) Arena
This service is the main channel of communication between you and Bodø University College in administrative matters. Arena allows you to change your personal data (name, address, phone, e-mail, etc.), register for and withdraw from exams, change your password, among other things.

2) Classfronter
This tool is especially designed to support the web-based tuition at Bodø University College. If you experience problems, please contact Jørgen Karlsen, tel. 75517291, or Hege Stenhammer.

3) E-mail, pc-pools and wireless network
All Bodø University College students have access to the university college network from the PC pools. You will also receive your own e-mail address from the university college (name.surname@stud.hibo.no).
Bodø University College also offers a wireless network to enable you to log on to the network with your laptop computer from almost anywhere on campus. You can also access your e-mail account through the web.

4) Room reservations
This service allows you to reserve a group room through the web.

5) Time schedule
Through this service, you can view you own tiem schedule during a preferred time periode, based on the modules you have registered for.
