The main focus is planning and organisation so that the users of health and social services are included in society

The Master’s degree programme in Welfare Politics should primarily provide the students with competence for planning and adapting the conditions so that the users of health and social services are included in society. This requires competence with regards to how welfare is managed in a situation with reorganisations, changes in work methods and care of the users’ needs and wishes.

The Master’s degree programme is an educational offer for those wishing to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to become leaders, counsellors or executive officers within the health and social area on a local, regional and central level. The students should acquire the necessary knowledge to lead welfare organisations and to manage development work within welfare.
