All international students on exchange programs or bilateral agreements are welcome to attend a course in Norwegian Language and Culture for beginners. There is no tuition fee for this course.
The course is offered every semester and starts in the beginning of September or late January.
The course comprises 40 hours, four hours a week. Students usually follow this course parallel to their regular studies. A passed examination awards 5 ECTS credits.
Apart from language teaching, the course also comprises excursions to museums and sites in the Oslo area. These excursions are also open to all other international students.
