Practical information
Applications
Fill in the application form in cooperation with the international office at your home university. EPS-Oslo is both a spring and autumn course and applications are acceptet up to November 1 for the spring semester and May 1 for the autumn semester. If your university and OUC don't have a bilateral Erasmus agreement or similar, this can (and must) be arranged through our international coordinator . Norway is not an EU-member but participates on fairly equal conditions through special agreements. It is however necessary for other non-EU universities to take note of this and contact us at an early stage so that we may arrange for alternative financing.

Acceptance process
On receipt of the applications a selection process is undertaken immediately. Those accepted on the course will receive the list of possible projects shortly after November 1 for the spring semester and May 1 for the autumn semester . You then have to make a numbered priority of 3 projects you would be interested in working on. We cannot guarantee you the number one choice because we have to ensure that the nationality mix as well as the academic background is right in all the project groups.
Accommodation
We will help provide accommodation for the students who so wish through the students' organisation ( OAS ). These are simple, but fairly reasonable places in central areas of Oslo. Prices range from NOK 2,500 and up. If you want to accept this offer please fill in the application form or else we may not have accommodation for you on arrival. A deposit will also have to be paid.
Cost of living
You should be fairly well off on an estimated NOK 8,000 a month inclusive boarding. But we know of students who manage on far less.
Getting here
Getting here should be easy. You can reach Oslo by air (landing at Oslo Airport Gardermoen) where you may take the Airport Express (fast train) or the Airport Bus Express (takes a bit longer) or local train (cheapest).
Train and bus both arrive in downtown Oslo. It is very easy to find your way around when you arrive here. You may know where you are heading after arrival, and that's fine - if you don't please contact the EPS coordinator for information.
