By plane
You can get to Volda from Oslo lufthavn Gardermoen by plane, either via Volda/Ørsta airport (HOV) or via Ålesund/Vigra airport (ALS). From Hovden there is at ten minutes drive, while from Vigra you must travel an extra hour and a half to two hours by buss or car.

Buss from Vigra
If you choose to fly to Ålesund/Vigra airport you will need further transport to Volda. First take the Airport Express Coach to Moa (Moa Trafikkterminal), then transfer to the express buss, TIMEkspressen, destination: Volda (Volda rb.st.). From the buss terminal in Volda there is a five minute walk to Volda Tourist Hotel or fifteen minutes to Volda University College. For taxi information see below.
