Research and development of intelligent knowledge based systems is of great importance for the information technology to make information systems more applicable and to solve tasks that requires human competence.
The principal focus for the group is natural language understanding within an AI- framework. The underlying platform is knowledge-based systems where knowledge representation and automatic reasoning are fundamental, i.e. to make intelligent use of stored knowledge.
