The 2-year MSc study

A 2-year MSc study in Telematics is offered for students having a BSc degree with appropriate coverage of mathematics, statistics, programming, software engineering, algorithmic methods, databases, data communication and communication networks.

At least 27 ECTS credits are required in mathematics and statistics. The organisation of the 2-year study is illustrated below. Students are directly enrolled to one out of five optional fields of specialisation within the Telematics Field of Study in the Communication Technology Programme.

For recruitment to the two year MSc study, there are some approved Norwegian BSc programmes. This list is not exhaustive. Students from Norwegian as well as foreign BSc programmes with similar curriculum as the approved programmes can apply for the 2-year MSc study. Students applying must have a BSc with an average grade better or equal to C. The 2-year MSc study is also open for international applicants, see here

Enrollments take place after application directly to NTNU. Final date for application is April 15th.
