Service-Centred Approach to Telecom Service Development
Abstract.
In this paper we discuss important challenges for the future of telecom service development, and look at some attempts of meeting them. We argue that a service-centred approach should be taken, and state why we believe that Ericsson’s service execution framework ServiceFrame might show the way. We briefly outline our planned validation work involving the development of the AMIGOS service, supporting virtual meeting places, and mention the role that the Teleservice Lab at the Dept. of Telematics plays in this validation.
