Research
While working for Telenor R&D, I worked on distributed virtual reality environments. I have always been interested in visualization and human-computer interaction, and I have long experience in designing and programming this kind of systems.
I am currently working on how to visualize the vast quantity of information that is available to a network and systems administrator. Sorting through all the log-files and keeping track of all the machines in a large network can be hard work. I believe that the job can be simplified by using visual tools.
I started the work on my PhD on August 1st, 2007.
