The last two days, June 18-19th, corresponds to the
traditional symposium days with oral presentations of papers.
The Symposium deals with building physics in a broad
sense, and includes indoor climate, energy savings, alternative building
technology, calculation models and programs. Topics for the Symposium
papers may be classified under the following headings:
- Building envelope performance
- Heat transfer
- Moisture transport
- Air tightness and air movement
- Measuring techniques
- Properties of materials
- Indoor climate
- Durability
- Energy conservation
Structural aspects are not included. Neither are fire, acoustics,
daylight and lighting, except for energy aspects. The Symposium
papers may typically present work based on theoretical analyses,
calculations, laboratory and in-situ measurements and field investigations.
