A Diploma Supplement is awarded for programmes both on undergraduate and graduate levels, and provides information about the nature, level, context, content and status of the studies you have undertaken. It is free from any value judgements, equivalence statements or suggestions about recognition. In other words, it gives information that compliments your Diploma. This information will be of great value for a foreign institution if you want to study abroad, or for a potential foriegn employer. The Diploma Supplement is written in English and its purpose is to provide sufficient independent data to improve the international "transparency" and provide fair academic and professional recognition of qualifications (diplomas, degrees, certificates etc.).  The Diploma Supplement follows the model developed by the European Commission, Council of Europe and UNESCO/CEPES. 

The Diploma Supplement is free of charge and will be given automatically after you finished your degree.
