It will always be a challenge arriving in a new country to live and study. There are many practicalities to take care of. Fortunately, Norway is a transparent and well organised society. Also, the Norwegian institutions will do their best to ease the transition for you to become a student in Norway.
In 1989 the Academy moved into new facilities at Majorstua in Oslo with two concert halls, a modern library, ample office space for faculty members. The Academy is undergoing major changes, as the head-office is expanding with a new block of 7000 sq meters. The additional building will be finished late autumn 2006.
