The Executive Board's monetary policy meeting

At the monetary policy meeting, the Executive Board reviews charts on the Norwegian and international economy. The charts and their presentation are an important part of the basis for the Executive Board's interest rate decisions. The publication of the charts provides insight into the basis for the interest rate decisions.

The Executive Board's overall assessment of the economic situation is presented in a press release on the interest rate decision which is published at 2.00 pm the same day as the monetary policy meeting.
