On Saturday, 24 September 2005, the IMF's International Monetary and Financial Committee held its twelfth meeting in Washington D.C. Norway's Minister of Finance, Mr. Per-Kristian Foss, who currently represents the Nordic-Baltic constituency on this committee, made a statement on behalf of the Nordic and Baltic countries. Mr. Svein Gjedrem, Governor of Norges Bank, made a statement at the IMF's Annual Meeting on Sunday, 25 September.
