Guidelines
Pursuant to the Norges Bank Act, Norges Bank shall invest the official foreign exchange reserves in accordance with foreign exchange policy. Norges Bank's Executive Board lays down guidelines for the investment of the reserves. The Executive Board has delegated the task of specifying the rules in more detail to the Central Bank Governor, and the Governor in turn has sub-delegated some of these areas.
