About Norway.no

Norway.no`s primary task is to act as a gateway to the public sector in Norway. We aim to make finding public information and accessing public services easier for members of the public. Norway.no is a public agency subordinate to the Ministry of Government Administration and Reform.

Norway.no has three official web portals: www.norway.no, www.noreg.no and www.norge.no . We also run a help desk to answer questions about the public sector. Most people contact us by telephone, e-mail, e-chat or SMS. Information on how you can contact is found on our web page Ask Us!

Norway.no works to improve the quality of online public services, initiates activities to increase accessibility for disabled persons and coordinates online public services. Norway.no is also responsible for developing criteria for the evaluation of public web sites.

Norway.no;has administrative responsibility for;the;virtual service office Mypage. Norway.no;is responsible for developing new content for Mypage as well as providing guidance and information on how to use the service.

On 1 January 2006, Norway.no was awarded editorial responsibility for the public notice web site Norsk Lysingsblad.
