1 Strategy
It is a goal of educational policy that Norway’s educational system shall be among the best in the world as regards academic level and breadth of recruiting. The standard of instruction in schools and workplaces is of paramount importance for the quality of our society. If we are to be able to respond constructively to social change, education must be organised within the framework of lifelong learning.
A changing society needs an innovative and adaptable workforce. The majority of future jobs probably does not yet exist, but must be created. This demands an educational system that focuses on innovation and research at a high international level.
