Impact Assessment with an Indigenous Perspective, 30 ECTS
Cooperation between indigenous institutions, indigenous organizations and indigenous communities
Sámi allaskuvla (Sámi University College) starts up this new 30 ECTS study in September 2006.
The objective of an Impact assessment program is to raise the awareness of indigenous communities’ situations related to climate change, environment and resource management.
The program has also initiated the UArctic Indigenous Thematic Network (ITN) on Community
-based Natural Resource Co-management. The network will be named at the first network seminar in September 2006.
