Welcome to the Centre for Materials Science and Nanotechnology
The Centre for Materials Science and Nanotechology (SMN) is a unit at the base level within the organisational structure of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. The Centre acts as the faculty's strategic unit, coordinating the activities within materials science, micro- and nanotechnology. In addition it carries the responsibility for the university's strategic programme on functional materials (FUNMAT) and the activites at the MINA-lab.SMN seminars and guest lectures

The agreements for the first centers for research driver innovation (SFI) have been signed. The Research council will during the
