Slight increase in rents

The Rental market survey shows that an average monthly rent for a 2 room and 3 room dwelling amounted to NOK 4 418 and NOK 5 026 respectively in the second quarter 2007, up 0.6 per cent from the first quarter. Rents for larger dwellings fell in the same period. (21.08)

International reserves and foreign currency liquidity

Decrease in international reserves

Norges Bank's international reserves amounted to NOK 331.2 billion at the end of July 2007. Compared with the previous month, this is a decrease of NOK 3.3 billion. (21.08)
