Taiwanese newspapers (in English)
Taiwan has three newspapers available in English: Taipei Times, The China Post and Taiwan News. The biggest issue in Taiwanese political life is the question of whether Taiwan should seek independence or reunification with The People's Republic of China. This issue divides the political parties of Taiwan in two coalitions: The Pan-Green and the Pan-Blue, with the Green leaning toward pro-independence and the Blue leaning toward pro-reunification.
Taipei Times, published by the same company that publishes Liberty Times(in Chinese only). Taipei Times is considered “green."
