About Us

We are the commercialization arm of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

We facilitate the movement of research results to the public domain where they can be translated into technology solutions that benefit society.

In the process, we transform the university’s intellectual capital into more tangible assets through patenting, licensing, contracting and cross-selling across different technology platforms to create added value.

Our goal is to connect university faculty and research with market-oriented partners to ensure that technology moves out from the university to the marketplace. 

We are a resource centre and support network for NTNU faculty, and a gateway for outreach to global markets and industry collaboration. 

At the same time, we serve as a one-stop shop for industry partners looking for useful and new technologies emerging from the university.
