The employer may also require a probationary period in cases in which the employee moves from one government position to another. In certain cases the probationary period may be waived. During the probationary period the employee shall be provided with the necessary advisory assistance and evaluation of his/her work.
The employee shall be given written notification of the regulations pertaining to the probationary period and shall verify receipt of such notification in writing.
2. During the probationary period an employee may be discharged with three weeks notice in the event that the employee is unable to adjust to the work or satisfy reasonable demands as regards ability and reliability.
At the end of the probationary period the employee shall be notified if he/she is not to continue in the position. In this case the employee shall be discharged with three weeks' notice.
3. Employees in positions requiring specific training may be discharged with three weeks notice in the case that the training is not completed in a satisfactory manner. By regulation, in certain cases the probationary period may be extended.
