International relations

The University of Bergen is Norway's International University and is strongly committed to international collaboration in research and education. It has signed bilateral agreements in all parts of the world.

UiB gives high priority to collaboration with universities in developing countries in fields such as health, poverty, and resource management.

The overall aim is to initiate, facilitate and conduct relevant research, to encourage local competence building and to support the development of research facilities in these countries.
