at MBI

MBI teaches basic and advanced courses in molecular biology, biochemistry, gene technology, molecular immunology, virology and molecular genetics. An ~18 month graduate programme in biotechnology leads to the degree of candidatus scientiarum (cand. scient., ~ Master of Science). Pre-doctoral students at MBI may enrol in the doctor scientiarum (~PhD) programme. MBI offers a full range of courses in biochemistry and molecular biology (consult the Faculty Sourcebook for students, "Studiehåndbok for Realfag"). Foreign students who wish to follow courses at MBI should first contact the UoB Office for Foregin Students. The MBI Seminars constitute an essential component in teaching at all levels at MBI. |
