history
the Q.U.C. is:
STEFFX CURE303 VIEL
JAN NEYAL CH
....Quality Urin Club first started up as "the Greger Verlesens" early in
the spring of '89. At this point they were just two boys with synthesizers
and guitars, experimenting at a club in their hometown Longsun.
Late '89 they released the legendary impossible-to-get demo-cassette
"...eh, we live through the music and then we can feel. Okay..."
It was originally released in three copies only; one for each bandmember.
So, now you probably wonder who the third bandmember was. Well, I couldn't
tell. The last time I saw them, they weren't really sure. They didn't
remember.
Of the following events in Q.U.C.s career, there are only a few worth
mentioning. This is not because of those classic musical-career-failiures,
but merely because they worked separately. Steffx was lost in da analogue-
groove, and Neyal had his fun experimenting with different types of musical
spheres. Early in February '94 they collaborated with five Breevike-based
musicians/soundprosessors, and threw a consert at the supernova-fireplace-anchored
arena of The Werft. This boosted their career "back home", and sent
them straight into the underground scene of Buoyrgen.
In a two-year period, '95-'96, they released a series of obscure 7" and
12" recordings. They were released on the underground label
META-recordings, and are, as far as I know, not available anywhere.
They are currently in their home-studio, and are planning a release
in the nearest future....
