Welcome to the ‘Child welfare, equality and social inclusion’ research group
Our diverse research projects involves:
- Child welfare services and children/families affiliated with child welfare services
- LGBT related topics (Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered persons)
- Health- and welfare services from the perspectives of service users and service providers
Children in child welfare services, young people being called 'faggot' at school, adults who use mental health services, and other groups we are concerned with, are often subjected to issues concerning social inclusion/exclusion.
Our research is therefore aimed at benefiting these groups, and to contribute to promoting social equality and inclusion. We particularly focus on the Norwegian and Nordic contexts.
