The University of Stavanger, Norway
The University of Stavanger, Norway, has about 8,000 students and 900 administration, faculty and service staff. The University is organized in three Faculties and also includes two national centres of expertise.
MISSION STATEMENT
The ability to question, to wonder and and to challenge established facts has played role in all progress.Our task is to further progress. We do this by asking questions – and finding answers.
We have great ambitions. Through research and education we want to help shift the boundaries of knowledge and skills. We will rise to meet challenges and demands creatively.
Norway and the world need inovation.
Our mission is to challenge established facts and explore the unknown, gain insight, and find wisdom, to benefit society at large, our students and staff.
