M.Sc. thesis - title:
Use of Environmental Isotopes as a tool to understand the Hydrological
cycle of St Lucia, South Africa
Supervisor:
Sylvi Haldorsen and Bruce Kelbe (University of Zululand)
Thesis presentation:
The thesis is part of the NUFU-funded Norwegian - South African
project in St Lucia, leaded by Sylvi Haldorsen. I look at the relative relationship between heavy and light isotopes of oxygen and hydrogen in precipitation, groundwater and estuary water. The composition of isotopes gives information on the physical history and origin of the water.
A little about myself:
I am a Nature Management student from INA, but my interests in water and the tropics brought me to IPM and Haldorsen. At the moment I am to drowned in my work to remember anything more about my self. Well actually: I like drawing.
