The Department of Economics and Resource Management (IØR) offers two Bachelor's degree programmes: Bachelor in Economics and Resource Management and Bachelor on Business Administration. Both programmes are tought in Norwegian.

Bachelor - 3 years

Bachelor in Economics and Resource Management

The study qualifies students for positions in businesses, organisations and public administration. In addition, the degree qualifies students for admission to the Master's degree programme in Economics and Resource Management, in Social Economics and the Master's programme in Development and Resource Economics. The programme meets the national requirements for the Bachelor's degree in Social Economics, with the electives concentrating on two courses in social economics. Together with a combination of certain courses, the degree also qualifies for admission to the Master's degree programme in Economics and Administration.

Admission requirements
General study competence. 70 students are admitted each year.

Bachelor - 3 years

Bachelor in Business Administration

Graduates with an education in business administration can work in both the private and public sectors. In Norway, there are many small and medium size companies with a need for employees with competency in areas such as accounting, marketing, finance, economic politics, tax laws etc. The same is true for a large portion of the public sector, such as municipalities, where there is a general demand for people with a broad background in business administration. Completion of the programme allows graduates to use the nationally established title of Bachelor in Business Administration. The degree qualifies graduates to apply for Master's degree studies in business administration, organisation and leadership or social economics (dependent on course choice in the Bachelor's programme). The degree qualifies graduates for intermediate leadership positions in companies, organisations and public management.

Admission requirements
General study competence. 30-60 students are admitted each year.
