Welcome to FS Support at the University of Life Sciences (UMB). FS (Felles Studentsystem) is an administrative system used by universities and other higher educational institutions in Norway.

Here you can find details of who to contact should you be in need of assistance, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and information on relevant courses and seminars, as well as links to other relevant websites. From this site you can also download instruction manuals, descriptions of local FS routines and useful forms.

The overall goals of FS (Felles Studentsystem) at UMB are:
- to provide secure internal control of and access to the system
- to maintain accurate data in the system at all times
- to act as an effective quality assurance system for the reporting of data to external institutions and databases

There are currently a total of 59 users of FS at UMB. This autumn an evaluation of the system will be carried out. Areas where improvement is needed will be identified and the FS training and FS support services will be assessed. The main purpose of this exercise is to improve working conditions for FS users at UMB.
