Centre for Integrated Petroleum Research

Main focus: Contribute to extended production by increasing recoverable reserves in existing oil and gas fields.

Mission:

  1. combine geology, chemistry, physics and mathematics to obtain improved understanding of multiphase flow phenomena in porous media
  2. develop reservoir models that provide faster and more reliable reservoir simulations, with emphasis on heterogeneous reservoirs
  3. contribute to increased oil recovery by improved understanding of oil recovery mechanisms
