Alumni will create and develop contact.
NTNU Alumni is an organization for former students at NTNU (NTH, AVH and DMF). NTNU Alumni is an umbrella organization for a network of subalumni linked with the various academic and scientific disciplines at NTNU.
NTNU Alumni centrally will take the initiative to organize events at NTNU. We also hope that local alumni groups will be established when there are enough members to establish an alumni group.
Alumni social events will take place at locations where Alumni members are present. The majority of the activities and events will not be run by NTNU Alumni centrally, but NTNU Alumni is a tool for getting in touch with old friends from your time at university.
NTNU Alumni could develop into a useful forum for influencing departments at NTNU. Through the Alumni organization, former students will be able to give feedback on the professional profile of the department, based on their own experience. This feedback will provide a good basis when the department is developing education for students, preparing them for work in various professions, such as administration, research, trade and industry.
You should join NTNU Alumni in order to:
Maintain the contact between the university and former students, organisations, trade and industry. Apply for grants for activities such as further education, student recruitment, placement provisions, lobbying and research collaboration.
