The conference cover expenses related to the reception, lunch and dinner for registred participants and speakers. Travel and hotel expenses however have to be covered by the participants themselves. If you need help with booking of hotel accommodation, please contact Fredrik Willumsen as soon as possible.

The conference will be held at the University of Oslo, in Auditorium 1+2 in Georg Sverdrups hus, Moltke Moes vei 39. On this map over Blindern, Georg Sverdrups hus is no. 27 and the Department of Economics is in no. 10, on 10th-12th floor.

How to get to the University of Oslo (Blindern)

From Hotel Europa: The tram lines 17 and 18 (Rikshospitalet) both pass Blindern Campus, go off at "Universitetet Blindern". Going from the stop to Georg Sverdrups hus is quite easy, just go straight forward through the campus until you reach the big open square and you will see the University Library in black stones (the most modern looking one) in front of you to the left.

From Oslo Central Station (Oslo S): Subway number 3 (Sognsvann) and subway number 5 (Storo) in the westbound direction both stop at the University of Oslo, go off at "Blindern". On this map the stop is labelled "T" and Georg Sverdrups hus is number 27.

This conference is the fifth to be organized by the Nordic Network in Development Economics (NNDE). Earlier the conference has been held in Bergen, Copenhagen, Gothenburg and Helsinki. The network includes junior and senior professors, young economists, as well as graduate students.
