Minimum entrance requirements
Students with non-Nordic foreign education must fullfill requirements as listed below. Please note that these are minimum requirements - some study programmes may have additional requirements.
NB: In addition to the requirements mentioned below, it is necessary to document a satisfactory level of English (computerbased TOEFL with a minimum score of 170 or equivalent) - see "Language requirements - English".
For the following countries, the basic entrance requirement is a national school leaving certificate that satisfies the basic requirements for admission to higher education institutions in the home country:Albania, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus (Greek), Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Yugoslavia
For the following countries, the basic entrance requirement includes one year of studies in academic subjets at university level:Algerie, Argentina, Bangladesh, Belarus (graduates from year 2000 and onwards), Bolivia, Botswana, Brazil, Chile, Cameroon, China (after 1977), Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Cyprus (Turkish), Democratic Republic of Congo (former Zaire), Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gambia, Gaza and The West Bank, Ghana, Guatemala, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Jordan, Kenya, Korea (South), Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Mali, Morocco, Mexico, Namibia, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Pakistan, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Russian Federation (graduates from year 2000 and onwards), Saudi Arabia, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Syria, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Uganda, Ukraine (graduates from year 2000 and onwards), Uruguay, USA, Venezuela, Vietnam, Zambia, Zimbabwe
For the following countries, the basic entrance requirement includes two years of studies in academic subjets at university level:
Belarus (graduates before year 2000), Cambodia, China (until 1966), Mongolia, Mozambique, Philippines, Russian Federation (graduates before year 2000), Ukraine (graduates before year 2000).
