Work places

• There are facilities for studying and for teamwork in all of the library departments. In order to maintain a good working environment, there may be restrictions on eating and drinking in the library.

Loan period

• The loan period can vary between documents and document types, depending on whether it is an ordinary book, curriculum book, magazine, movie or music.
  

• Loans can usually be renewed if no one is on the waiting list. Day loans cannot be reserved or renewed. See also our lending regulations

Messages from the library

• Retrieving Messages for reserved or ordered books will be sent on SMS or at the student e-mail.

• Reminders about overdue books will be sent on student e-mail the first two times. Third reminder will be mailed to your registered address. You can change the address on Studweb.

• All e-mail to students from the library will be sent to the email address at the school (name@student.hist.no).

How to keep track of loans, orders and reservations

• The service My account in Oria allows you to keep track of loans, orders and reservations. You also have the option to renew the loan on this page. Watch our tutorial video.
  You can use the service by logging in with Feide.
