Research Documentation and Publishing at HiST

The library provides research support to employees at HiST. You can get help with registration in Cristin and publishing in the digital archive HiST Brage, and guidance in the use of the reference handling tool EndNote.
In addition, the library offers guidance and support in connection with searching and finding literature for research. Contact your nearest branch library for assistance.

           Research

Publications channels: 

  • Search for authorized publication channels. NSD is responsible for the Norwegian Register for Scientific Journals, Series and Publishers.

  • Ulrichsweb is an easy to search source of detailed information on more than 300 000 periodicals.

  • Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) is an online directory that indexes and provides access to peer-reviewed open access journals.

  • Journal Citation Reports is a comprehensive and unique resource that allows you to evaluate and compare journals using citation data. It is the only source of citation data on journals.

EndNote:

  • EndNote is a reference tool available to students and staff at Sør-Trøndelag University College. If you want to install EndNote on your computer, you will find information and a licencecode in the file LesMeg.txt in the folder P:\Campus\Endnote on your computer.
