A one-year preparatory course to the Bachelor in food technology

The school offers a preparatory course for applicants without a general university admission certificate, as well as for applicants with the required certificate, but with few or insufficient exams in the scientific subjects.

The following subjects are taught at the course: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Norwegian and English. Students are assessed by average marks and a written exam in all subjects.

On completion of the course, you are automatically eligible for admission to the Bachelor Programme. Admission to the preparatory course can be granted to students based on both educational qualifications and work experience. For details on terms of admission, please contact the school.

Students with vocational education, work experience from the food industry or unsatisfactory exam results in the science subjects are well advised to apply to the preparatory course.
