Content:
This programme is aimed at those with educational backgrounds in nursing or other health care fields. It provides an interdisciplinary understanding of the relationship between environmental conditions and people’s health.

• Water Supply, Drainage and Sewage (10 ECTS)
• Noise Pollution and Air Hygiene (10 ECTS)
• Internal Control, Health and Environmental Management (10 ECTS)
• Food Safety and Management (10 ECTS)

Teaching and learning methods:
Throughout the programme there is field and laboratory teaching with report writing, project work, seminar assignments, group and seminar teaching and lectures. There is an emphasis on practical projects in the learning process.
Careers / further study:
Company Nurse, environmental health officer, health consultant specialising in internal control. The programme qualifies graduates for admission to the Master’s programme in Environmental Health Studies.
