In this programme students will learn and develop basic skills, appreciate form and ability of expression through creative work with wood and metal as the principal material. Work with design and sculptures are central aspects in this programme.

Teaching and Learning Methods:

This programme interactes between practical creative work, theory and didactic reflection. Students will gain comprehensive experience of specialised teaching and learning methods within a variety of work methods. It is very challenging to alternate between various work methods including lectures, demonstrations, seminars and discussion groups, problems solving, individual work and in groups. Students will be tutored and assessed; they will deliver presentations and demonstrations. The programme includes an eight days’ study trip both in Norway and abroad and shorter trips of 1-3 days.
