Content:

This programme provides a foundation in the subject as well as analytical abilities and understanding of the issues around inherent, social and ethical frameworks in the economic and administrative area.
Courses:
Business Financial Analysis and Accounts (10 ECTS). Marketing (10 ECTS). Mathematics (10 ECTS). Financial Accounting with Analysis (10 ECTS). Business Law (5 ECTS). Micro and Macro Economics (5 ECTS). Organisation Theory I (5 ECTS). Statistics (5 ECTS)

Teaching and learning methods:

Lectures, seminars, group tasks, individual tasks and study trips. Courses are usually of one semester’s duration with a midterm and final assessment.

Careers / further study:

The aim of the programme is to provide qualification for employment in finance and administration in the private and public sectors. The programme may also form the basis of further studies in economics at Telemark University College or other university colleges and universities in Norway and abroad.
