Content:

This is a programme in basic biology. It emphasises the close relationship between the various branches of biology, and between living organisms and the non-living environment. The programme may be taken together with Biology II.

The programme is divided into the following courses:
Field biology
Botanical studies
Zoology
Cell biology
Ecological and biological diversity

Teaching and learning methods:

The programme includes two longer field trips. In addition, there is field work in various biotopes in the local environment. Field and laboratory studies are mandatory.
