Content:

This programme is aimed at foreign students who do not meet the entrance requirements for study at Norwegian universities and university colleges . The programme emphasises obtaining competent general skills in Norwegian. It also focuses on how to understand and adapt to Norwegian society.
The programme consists of two components:
Norwegian Language
Norwegian Social Studies

Teaching and learning methods:

Lectures, group work, practice and assignments. Attendance is obligatory. Assessment is based on written and oral tests, and a semester project.

Careers / further study:

Successful completion of the programme fulfils the Norwegian language requirement for studying in Norway.
